Week 11 brings another chaotic injury slate for fantasy football managers, with major names across every position battling injuries that could swing matchups and playoff pushes. From concussions and hamstrings to high-ankle sprains and knee issues, understanding true return-to-play timelines and performance expectations is critical, not just whether a player is “active.” Below is a concise breakdown of the most impactful Week 11 injury situations, what their status likely means moving forward, and which players you may need to pivot from before Sunday.
Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson
Injury: Knee injury
Analysis: Jackson missed Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, but has been able to participate the rest of the week and will play. A mild knee injury can cause stiffness and soreness, but it often responds quickly to treatments throughout the week and does not limit production. Expect Jackson to be unimpeded by this injury and remain an elite QB1.
Brock Purdy
Injury: Toe injury

Analysis: Purdy will make his return after missing the last six games with a toe injury that originally occurred in week one. A right-handed passer pushes off the right foot and big toe to create throwing power, and when a significant injury to the right big toe is present, the ability to power off the right foot is greatly impacted. No doubt Purdy has been held out the past month and a half due to the inability to properly create throwing power due to his toe. The good news is that six weeks is substantial time to rest and rehab, and restore range of motion and strength to the big toe. I would expect Purdy to look and play near 100% in his return and is a viable low-end QB1.
Jaxson Dart
Injury: Concussion
Analysis: Dart will miss week 11 with a concussion. Dart has received great scrutiny from the media this week for his reckless playing style. It will be interesting to see if his play changes at all when he returns to the field.
