Week 5 spared us from full-on carnage, but the football gods still claimed a few key names. Headliner: Omarion Hampton is headed to injured reserve (IR) and will miss at least four weeks. Beyond Hampton, several impact players below warrant close monitoring as we turn to Week 6. Read on for the full NFL Week 5 injury recap and the fantasy implications you need before setting lineups.

Quarterbacks
Kyler Murray
Injury: Foot injury
Analysis: Kyler missed a few plays with a foot injury but finished out the game. Coach Gannon has stated the Cardinals will "see how the week goes" which indicates it is no more than a mild injury. A foot injury can obviously limit Murray's rushing upside, curbing his overall fantasy output. Murray has not been great for fantasy this year, currently sitting at QB17. If his rushing upside is limited in week 6 a pivot at QB is in play for fantasy managers.

Carson Wentz
Injury: Left shoulder injury
Analysis: Wentz missed a few plays Sunday morning with a left shoulder injury but returned to finish the game. A left shoulder injury that is mild enough to play through won't impact a right-handed passer one bit. Minnesota is on a bye in week 6, and starter JJ McCarthy has a shot to return in week 7.
