Orthopedically, Olave has held up well in the NFL, missing just one game due to an ankle sprain. Neurologically, is a different story. FIVE concussions in four years is a major problem. Concussions are cumulative; one concussion makes a subsequent concussion more likely to happen. Five concussions make a sixth concussion WAY more likely to occur. Olave is at a very high risk for injury in 2025, and fantasy managers need to think about long-term consequences here. Olave is ultimately the one in charge of how long he plays football, and I will never use my own opinion to suggest what a player should do, but fantasy managers, especially dynasty fantasy, need to be mindful that another concussion may lead to a prolonged absence and possibly chatter about retirement.
